We were there in February and the whales were amazing. We loved the area. It was walking distance to Sansei and we could have walked to Merrimans but took the shuttle. We rented a car so we went all over the island but I have to say that Kapalua was my favorite part. The people at the Ritz Carlton were amazing and the hotel was so beautitul!
